Completing six placements, I have gained experience in general radiography, dental radiography, BMD study, and CT. During hospital placements, I assisted in theatre cases and mobile radiography. Some of my placements provided chances to perform special views such as Orthoroentgenogram (Leg Length) and Scoliosis radiography study. Furthermore, I was able to observe other imaging modalities such as MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Angiography.
Particularly at Truescan Radiology and Synergy Radiology, is a valuable chance for me to practice communication with body language and provide simple and direct instructions for patients who are non-English speakers.
At Lismore Base Hospital, I came across with challenging traumatic patient which allowed me to gain more experience in modified imaging techniques and communication skills with different medical professionals.
